Kia ora,
This year is going quickly. Since last posting, I've only done one story: The Short Story Featuring Admiral Ackbar. It's been available on gallifrey base for a couple of weeks, as well as this site if you had tried looking for it, but now I'm mentioning it so you definitely know it exists. Also, if you find the Jon Pertwee Recipe Book thread on gallifrey base you can see a picture of Suthers' shit on a plate. The Mad Astronomer gave it a fancy title but don't be fooled! Interestingly, Suthers the Astronomer has featured in some short stories on here. The Evil Astronomer was his first appearance, and he returned in the Evil Astronomer Returns. Both are part of the Super Sleuth series. In Auckland we have a few cool nature areas. One is called Shakespear. It's a regional park less than an hour north of the city. In it you can see Kereru, which are our native wood pigeons. They're cool. Here's a picture I took of one of these brilliant birds I've begun this posting with a pretty picture. It's a waterfall!! It's here in Auckland, in a place called Karekare. Now in this update I've uploaded a few stories. They were previously available over on the Jon Pertwee Recipe Book Discussion Forum but now I've uploaded them here for those of you who don't frequent that site. My favourite one is Heart, which features Sabalom Glitz and Mel Bush trying to save the Earth from Space Stalin. You may have noticed that former WWE wrestler Chris Benoit featured in the Funeral. Now, Broken Faith resolves his storyline. Don't Look Back in Anger features the fate of Jimmy Savile, whilst Aussie Eggs is a Sexy Voord short story which introduces us to Virat who is her new assistant.
And what about the exciting Doctor Who news? Chris Chibnall will take over from Steven Moffat as the executive producer. I liked Ste-Mo's reign, but it will be interesting to see a new take on the show. I really enjoyed Dinosaurs on a Spaceship so I have high hopes for this new era. If you like dinosaurs too, check out All Black Dinosaur - it features a dinosaur playing rugby! The year is almost over :( But the good news is that another year is about to commence. Awesome!! We get another year!! We're so lucky.
I've written two more stories. You may have seen them on the Jon Pertwee Recipe Book Discussion Forum. If you've never been to that site you should. It's full of stuff which are totes amazeballs. Regan the Elephant takes place in one of Barbara's history classes. Hope y'all are ok with a bit of Aotearoa history. And Mein Kampf is a short piece about Adolf Hitler. If you enjoy these stories, feel free to browse the rest of my fan fiction - just click HERE. And a blog post wouldn't be complete without a beautiful New Zealand photograph or two. Happy New Year :) I've written two new stories. The first is Bang Bang. You may have read it on the Jon Pertwee Recipe Book Discussion Forum. It's a short tale, and it guest stars Nick Briggs. The other story is The Streak, and is ideal for anyone who likes pro wrestling. It may even be suitable for those who don't like wrestling. Best to read it to find out. Or not. It's probably terrible.
My previous blog post mentioned that Mr Capaldi was doing a talk here in Auckland. It was awesome! He was funny, sincere and brilliant. It concluded with Peter reading an extended version of his jawdropping speech from the Zygon Invasion. Howdy y'all!
I wrote a new story. It's called There's an App For That. It features the War Doctor (and a small portion of the Time War) as well as the Tenth Doctor!!! It's Amazing! Additionally if you pop into The Official Word you can see that Paul Cornell has further validated our claims that the Jon Pertwee Recipe Book is canon! And tonight, the current Dr Who Peter Capaldi will do a talk here in Auckland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jonah Lomu, one of the finest rugby players of all time (and by all accounts a great human too) has passed away :( :( :( :(
Last month I wrote a thrilling adventure about Meat Stack (for someone reason he's also called Colony Sarff) getting killed by Ronda Rousey. It's available here Meat Stack Explores the TARDIS.
Well this evening, I wrote a sequel to it. It's called the Funeral. It explains a few things within the Whoniverse. I hope you enjoy it. I haven't transferred the original Rousey story onto here yet, but if you have an account on Gallifrey Base you can read it http://gallifreybase.com/forum/showthread.php?t=218422 Anything else happen recently? The All Blacks won the Rugby World Cup!! They kicked ass! The Wallabies (especially Kepu) were constantly using grubby cheap shots and were forever infringing at the breakdown, but at the end of the day their arms were just too short to BOX WITH GOD! When they came back, there was a big welcome home. I had no exams that day and some time before the next one, so I decided to go along to clap and just show appreciation. I arrived a couple of hours early to get a decent view, so standing in the same spot for several hours hurt my legs, but it was worth it to see the champions return home and metaphorically say thank you for representing our country so magnificently. And if you watch WWE Raw this week, you may have heard JBL compare Seth Rollins to Richie McCaw (just before the main event) in that he leads the greatest team on earth. Richie is the All Blacks captain. That's him speaking in the third photo. He's so brilliant even the WWE recognises him. And what else? A couple of weeks ago there was the big New Zealand pop culture convention (Armageddon). I guess its similar to comicon. I met Richard Franklin (Captain Yates), Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks) and Jake the Snake Roberts. There was live wrestling there too, and I think Bushwhacker Luke was watching it as well. It's official!! Patrick Ness, the guy who's writing the new Doctor Who spinoff Class has confirmed that the Jon Pertwee Recipe Book is canon!!
Hey everybody!! hope September is treating you well. The new series of Doctor Who starts soon. Anyway, here's three new pieces of artwork which i drew during a test at university
This Is A Test - A kiwi does something naughty 4.5/5 - Sweet drawings of my friends Marae - a quick drawing of the main features of a marae Ni Hao!
I've written another story. Its called Swimming Pool. Its about the Tenth Doctor going swimming. Its quite short so it won't take long to read. And while you're busy with this post, why not read an old story of mine? Maybe something like Alpha and Friends? You can find all the stories listed in the fan fiction index. Anyway, so last weekend I was on a field trip. I posted a picture from there in a previous blog post. It was at the picturesque Goat Island. It's a marine reserve. No fishing is allowed so there's lots of fish, many of which are quite big. It's awesome!! But as it was a field trip, our fun was going to the beach and looking at sand hoppers. Also, there was some downtime so i went for a walk, and saw a really cool bird. It's known as a Tui. Apparently, long ago, there was a problem with worms and other invertebrates on the forest floor. Tane, one of the Gods, asked various birds whether they'd like to be the ones to go down and deal with it. Eventually the Kiwi said yes, and that's how it lost its wings and became universally loved. As punishment for saying no, Tane placed white feathers on the throat of the Tui as a symbol of its cowardice. On a field trip to this awesome place And Gallifrey base user "Back to Polarity" met Sean Pertwee and got him to sign a copy of the Holy Book. This must be definitive proof of canonness
Uh.....looks like young Sean Pertwee tried to click 'block' but accidentally clicked 'follow'
Even so, this must be further proof that the Jon Pertwee Recipe Book is canon Hello readers!!
Not much to report. There's a cool Doctor Who series nine trailer. Capaldi's hair isn't becoming more bouffant which is a shame. Maybe they're saving it as a surprise? And in exciting rugby news, the All Blacks appeared on the University of Auckland campus this week!! That's where i study. They're the best rugby team on the planet, and are one of the most dominant teams in all of sport. They've been #1 since 2009 and are the reigning world champions. And then today, a couple of All Blacks were doing a signing session in a shop downtown in Auckland. This wasn't well planned. they had two lines - one just normal and one for those who got a priority pass. Those in the priority line had a card, but the silly shop didn't collect the cards as those people entered, so they went in got their photos/autographs, and could then rejoin the priority line, or give their card to a friend, whilst us in the normal line weren't even moving. Eventually, after this took up the bulk of the signing session, the shop finally realised what was going on and stopped it, and our normal line started to move. So lil' Comrade Kaled got to meet a couple of All Blacks today. W00T!!!! Just thought i'd post some screen caps from twitter. Sreesanth is a cricket world cup winning cricketer for India. Piri Weepu won the rugby world cup for New Zealand. Craig Wing played for my favourite NRL team and now represents Japan in rugby I may be a mediocre artist, but I've done a head shot of Alpha Centauri. Check it out here: Alpha Centauri Portrait. I hope you like it. While you're here, why not check out some of my old drawings. Like Target Novelisation - i think its amusing. The index to all the artwork is here - Index.
And Pluto has been explored. That's because shooting off to outer space is important. But remember, it's your inner space that matters most Hey everyone. There's a new story on here.
Jet Ski It's about Garr being chased by Sexy Voord on a jet ski. Exciting stuff Yes, unfortunately I'm still alive. But have been busy with exams. But they're over now. One of them was a B+. Which is either good or bad depending on your opinion.
And I've uploaded some new artwork. One day it may even be displayed in the Louvre! Poliwhirl Cat With Glasses Teddy Bear Or click on the Artwork section to see an index of all my art Thank you :) One of the greatest wrestlers of all time responded to my post on twitter Bought his book, photoed it with Auckland's Sky Tower in the background and he replied:D :D :D :D
