Marae
This is a crude representation of a marae. It's an important place in Maori culture. There's far better pictures online which represent it better.
On the front facade, the koruru is in the middle and is a face which symbolises an important ancestor (tupuna) in that hapu. Extending down from this is the maihi (arms) and the raparapa (fingers). The roro is a front verandah thingy which represents the brain. Inside the building, the tahuhu is a beam running down the building and it symbolises the spine, and the heke extend fro this and represents ribs
