The Future of Porridge
One day, in a small house somewhere in Durham, a little old lady will die. She will die, whilst preparing her breakfast. Because of this unfortunate death, she will be unable to eat this breakfast. This fact will forever haunt her in her afterlife in the Great Bouffant in the Sky.
This little old lady was rather lonely. Nobody would go around to her small house. Her body wasn't found for 27 days.
During this time something extraordinary happened to her breakfast. She had prepared porridge. Sitting in the porridge bowl, the porridge had turned a bright green colour. It looked like a Rutan sitting in a bowl.
When somebody (named Thomason) finally discovered the dead little old lady they failed to notice the green porridge in the porridge bowl. This made the porridge sad. Being green, the porridge was absorbing a specific wavelength of light. Combined with its sadness, this created a transformation, and the porridge grew arms.
At was at this point that The Doctor became involved. He arrived in the small house to paint the doorframes so the small house would look really cool when it was auctioned. He too, failed to notice the porridge. This made the porridge angry. Being green, the porridge was absorbing a specific wavelength of light. Combined with its angriness, this created a transformation, and the porridge developed a hermaphroditic reproductive system. The green porridge then reproduced. Now there were two green porridges (correct plural is porridgii).
Eventually, these self-reproducing green porridgii with arms would become the dominant life form on earth.
