The Day the Music Died
The Doctor looked down sheepishly. His loony grin
was gone. The glint in his eye had disappeared. The sparkle had gone from his
pinstripe suit.
"Guilty," came the verdict from the jury's representative.
Guilty.
Guilty.
Guilty.
The Doctor was guilty. Yes, the Doctor was guilty. Guilty of sex crimes against minors. The Tenth Doctor, the Jimmy Saville incarnation. the Gary Glitter of Time Lords. And it was all due to some brilliant detective work by Sexy Voord that he got caught. He looked up briefly and saw a young bow tied figure looking at him, shaking his head. The Tenth Doctor couldn't meet his gaze and looked away in shame. The judge rambled on about the heinous nature of the Doctor's actions, but he stopped listening. This was the worst moment in his life. All too soon, he was being led away. As he was being ushered out of a side door he allowed himself one last glimpse back into the public gallery. An old, battle-worn man captured his attention. It was the incarnation he tried to forget. But the Doctor reflected, his actions were worse than his predecessor's.
"I told you not to point it," shouted the War Doctor.
The Tenth Doctor turned away and left the courtroom. He'd be in jail for a long time.
